This is the best looking 3.0S we have ever encountered! There is nothing out of place and just an amazing car, mechanically and cosmetically.
An ex-Zimbabwean car which underwent a ground up restoration completed by Paul Casson in 2009. This beautiful example is a BMW Club Concourse winner which has its accompanying certificate.
She was restored to basically original factory spec, with some period upgrades done –
- 5 Speed Manual Transmission fitted to enhance the driving experience. It’s a different car.
- Widened Alpina style rims
- Front spoiler
- Recent new viscous fan
The underneath of this exquisite example looks just like the visible parts, immaculate.
A complete file with the restoration invoices, paperwork, some history as well as certificates are sold with the vehicle. An owner’s manual is present, although no service history.
For us the kicker is in the trunk – a complete original BMW tool set which fills the dedicated spaces. Even the blue BMW cloth is still present, this is not seen often.
The paintwork presents beautifully after a recent paint correction and detailing carried out by Grit and the interior speaks for itself and so the engine bay.
This is a specimen which should not be missed out on.
All paperwork is in order and up to date.
