A proper entry into classic Mercedes-Benz ownership and one that can be driven and enjoyed from day one.
This 1969 W108 280SE might not be a factory-original show car, but it is a great runner that does exactly what it should. Recently serviced, she starts easily, runs well, and offers that solid, confident Mercedes drive these cars are known for.
Finished in a repaint that presents well overall, with some imperfections noted on the left front fender. The interior has been redone and, while not factory spec, is neat, clean, and perfectly usable.
The standout here is the manual floor-shift transmission not something you come across often on a W108. It completely changes the driving experience and makes this one a bit more special than your average example.
Mechanically sorted, cosmetically honest, and priced where it makes sense this is a usable, enjoyable classic that you can get in and drive without hesitation.
All paperwork in order.
Located in Shere, Pretoria East for viewings per appointment only.

Posted on Andre De Villiers Amazing placePosted on Roelie van Niekerk Beautiful place and a must visit for any petrolhead! Not so sure about the coffee shop, got charged an eye watering R70 for a double shot Cuppa. By far the most expensive coffee I ever had anywhere in SA! 😩 Cars were nice though!Posted on Tariq Moosa Amazing selection of cars. World-class setup.
