Yes, we believe this is one of the best ones around. The time, effort and money that went into this truck is not taken into account with the sale.
From top to bottom, she was completely rebuilt. The intention was to build a classic looking truck, with some modern amenities and a well-built performance engine to go along with that. This was achieved, and much more!
Let’s start with the mechanical side of things. She is running the following engine and specs:
- 383 Chevrolet Stroker engine built by McNabs engineering.
- Crower cams level 3
- 1.9 ratio crower rockers
- Edelbrock Victor Jnr heads
- Eagle 383 crank
- Fluid damper
- H beam 6 inch rods
- Gen2 block newly imported
- Dual tunnel ram intake
- 450 mechanical Holley carburettors
- CVF front drive kit
- 4l80e 4 speed electronic gearbox
- TCI Gearbox ECU
- Electronic Cluster
- Airconditioner Vintage Air
- Powersteering
- Big Vari performance disc brakes
- Jaguar suspension rebuilt front and rear. Upgraded front.
- Universal Cooling fan controller
- Wrap around exhaust headers and stainless exhaust.
- 20” US Mags front and rear
- Aluminium Column
This is just some if the items done to make this a great drivers truck! The paintwork is 10/10. She was professionally repainted recently and just pops. The black and chrome compliments each other very well, and then the interior…
The interior was also customized to give the truck a modern feel when driving. The upgraded gauges, Double Din radio and sound system, nice single seats with a centre console, and then the aircon makes it feel like you are driving a new truck, and not a 55 Chevy. And yes, all done in red. Black on red has always worked!
The loadbin has been finished off in a dark wood with chrome inserts, again, just compliments the truck.
All paperwork is in order and up to date.
