If you ever wanted a 50’s pickup, this is the one to own! All the bells and whistles one could ask for in one truck.
These trucks have proven to be most sought after by enthusiasts worldwide. The iconic look and single headlights along with all the upgrades possible, they are the first choice for a restomod. And boy is this a nice one.
This example was built a couple of years back. She was built for the look, with comfort in mind.
Below a list of what was done:
- Brand new 383 Stroker V8 built by McNabs Engineering.
- Jaguar suspension front and back with disc brakes.
- Vintage Air aircon installed professionally with the appropriate cabin vents and control unit.
- Rockford Fosgate Bluetooth Sound system not visible and plays exactly as you would want.
- Stainless steel exhaust front to back (side) with an overwhelming melody when the 383 roars.
- Black on black paint job. The paint appears plum in sunlight and black in the shade. It’s a must see. A recent paint correction by Grit has her looking like new.
- Wooden Loadbin done to perfection.
- ZR mags and tyres fitted. Wides at the back.
- Aluminium steering column with automatic column shift.
- Upgraded cluster fully electronic with classic look.
- Universal cooling fan controller with aluminum radiator.
- Dark window tint all around.
- And some more….
This is one of those ideal cruisers and can cause some trouble on the tar, if and when needed.
Mechanically one of the best and her cosmetics are near perfect. Interior is a 10/10 and the dark tint creates a very comfortable cabin, so does the aircon and sound system.
All paperwork is in order and up to date. She is licenced and roadworthy. Ready for her new owner!
