This is one exceptionally built and upgraded old Hilux! And she does most things a new one does….
Born in 1984, and completing a mere 129000km from new, this is one of the lower mileage classic Hilux’s out there.
The interior is 100% original as from the factory. This is what makes this special to us. Some mechanical and cosmetic upgrades on the exterior, but a stock standard interior and engine bay. All additions are easily reversed, although we don’t see this happening.
The paintwork also presents as if it might be original, with the usual signs here and there. She truly demands all the attention, everywhere!
Mechanically you can get in and go. She runs perfectly and starts on the turn. She is still fitted with the indestructible 2L Toyota engine and manual transmission.
She has had some suspension upgrades, with a complete Fox suspension/shocks front and back. The cattle rails were custom-built to a very high standard, and so were the sidesteps etc.
She comes with all her factory books and manuals with a fairly complete service history.
