Yes, we have an Alfa GTV6 3.0 for sale. She was professionally restored and is ready for the road!
This beautifully restored example is one of the 212 3.0 Alfas homologated in South Africa in order to compete in production vehicle motorsport and compete against the big BMW 535, and then we saw a 1st and 2nd place in the newly built 3.0’s.
This superb example is one of two we are offering up for sale, the other in white and also beautifully restored.
Having been touched and restored by some of the best in the business, this car is ready to be enjoyed and appreciated. From the paintwork to the interior to the mechanicals, she is all fresh and ready. The paint is beautiful in red and finished off well. A recent Grit detailing has her looking and presenting as a proper South African special!
The interior was completey redone to original specifications and looks as she did when she came from the factory.
Mechanically oom Dawie at Glenwood Motors sorted her out. She runs well with her carburetors recently rebuilt and given a proper tune up.
If you have driven an Alfa 3.0 such as this, you’d know it’s not comparable to its similar 2.0 or 2.5 variants. This is a race ready production car, built to win and not for an easy or comfortable drive, if you wanted that you would acquire a 2.5. If you wanted to be off the line first and cross the finish first in a mad dash, then you drive this. Jeremy Clarkson has attested that this is an absolute drivers car which requires being involved. It’s an experience.
Recent sales of similar vehicles has attracted worldwide interest. It has been sad seeing these SA built and homologated cars leaving our shores permanently as the collectors demand increases. Such is life.
This example runs well and presents without issues.
All paperwork is in order and up to date.
Located in Shere, Pretoria East for viewings per appointment only.
