Nadia Viljoen

Purveyor of classic automotive art and all-round petrolhead.

After completing my BCom degree in Financial Management, I went the corporate route for a few years. We were fortunate enough to make our passion a full-time job and I joined Wat Swaai Jy? in 2016. I am involved in the financial and marketing side of the business and thoroughly enjoy spending my days surrounded by automotive masterpieces.

I recently started doing content creation for one of my social media pages, Classic Car Girl, which gives viewers an insight to our daily lives and this platform is used to document my vehicle restoration projects. I enjoy being hands-on and I am currently in the process of restoring a 1967 Mini Cooper. Yes, I do lift the hood and get into it myself…

What I appreciate most of classic cars are the attention to detail, body lines, craftmanship and all-round character and history of the vehicles. Driving classic vehicles is an absolute treat, it requires a great deal of manual input from the driver which makes it a very satisfying and rewarding experience.

It is truly a privilege to share this passion with my husband, Corber, and creating a hub for like-minded individuals.
